In composing the Quartet No.1 in G min op.25 for piano and strings (and op.26) - his first truly important chamber works - Brahms - being the fervent classicist that he was - looked back to some important models to emulate and renew, he composed his own diptych of quartets with piano with other significant diptychs of pieces for strings and piano in mind: Mozart's Quartets K 478 and K 493 (Mozart's K 478 and Brahms' op. 25 are both in G min), Beethoven's two Trios op.70, Schubert's two Trios op.99 and 100.

Giorgia è il primo album della cantante italiana omonima, pubblicato nel 1994, contiene tredici canzoni e il brano che identifica il cd è senza dubbio "E poi", canzone che porterà anche a Sanremo nella sezione Nuove proposte. Il disco riesce a vendere ben 170.000 copie, un risultato niente male per un'artista emergente. È presente anche una cover di Battisti (Nessun dolore), il brano portato a Sanremo Giovani 1993 (Nasceremo) e una canzone molto breve, ma intensa, intitolata "Alba", che è una vera e propria poesia scritta da Giorgia.

Known worldwide for her great voice, Giorgia is back, after 3 years from the successful "Senza Paura", with a new album entitled Oronero. Produced by Michele Canova, Oronero is also the title of the 1st single taken from the album.
