Dying To Live: The Role Of Kamma In Dying And Rebirth

Aggacitta Bhikkhu: "Dying To Live: The Role Of Kamma In Dying And Rebirth"
Sukhi Hotu Dhamma Publications | ISBN: 9839382241 | 1999 | PDF | 120 Pages | 2,5 Mb

Explaining Change in Russian Foreign Policy: The Role of Ideas in post-Soviet Russia's Conduct Towards the West

"Explaining Change in Russian Foreign Policy: The Role of Ideas in post-Soviet Russia's Conduct Towards the West" by Christian Thorun
St. Anthony's Series
Palgrave Macmillan with St Antony’s College | 2009 | ISBN: 0230553729 | 216 pages | PDF | 1 MB

This book assesses the explanatory utility of different approaches to account for post-Soviet Russia’s foreign policy towards the West. It argues that only by focusing both on external constraints and changes in the Russian leadership’s foreign policy thinking can we explain major facets of Russia’s conduct from 1992-2007.

Fluid-aided mass transfer and subsequent mineral re-equilibration are the two defining features of metasomatism and must be present in order for metamorphism to occur. Coupled with igneous and tectonic processes, metasomatism has played a major role in the formation of the Earth’s continental and oceanic crust and lithospheric mantle as well as in their evolution and subsequent stabilization. Metasomatic processes can include ore mineralization, metasomatically induced alteration of oceanic lithosphere, mass transport in and alteration of subducted oceanic crust and overlying mantle wedge, which has subsequent implications regarding mass transport, fluid flow, and volatile storage in the lithospheric mantle overall, as well as both regional and localized crustal metamorphism.
