Mondo, in association with Masterworks and Bend Studios, is proud to present Nathan Whiteheads score to the Playstation game DAYS GONE.
Nathan Whitehead's beautiful, meditative yet occasionally terrifying score to DAYS GONE is one of our favorite pieces of video game music of 2019. A tragic slice of Americana, thrilling adventure, mixed with traditional horror elements. It is equal parts pulse pounding, heartbreaking and horrifying at the same time.

Guests include Bill Nelson, Robert Fripp, & Mel Collins. If there was only one album that I could take to a deserted island, "Gone to Earth" would be it. In my opinion, this piece of atmospheric pop-chique is the best Sylvian ever did. So when the remaster was released, I went and got it right away.

Gone Dead Train: The Best Of 1971-1989 Review by Mark Deming: While Crazy Horse have often been praised as one of America's great rock & roll bands, that's usually when they've been working in collaboration with fan, friend, and frequent patron Neil Young. On their own, Crazy Horse have recorded a handful of worthwhile albums, but they've never connected with audiences the same way they have when working with Young. Of course, it doesn't help that the band has never had a consistent frontman, guitarist, or songwriter of their own, with bassist Billy Talbot and drummer Ralph Molina the only musicians to play on every Crazy Horse album. (Original guitarist Danny Whitten died of a drug overdose in 1972, while Frank "Poncho" Sampedro has often drifted out of the group, usually to work with Young.)

Guitarist, composer, and bandleader Bill Frisell, an artist who has been called, “the most significant and widely imitated guitarist to emerge in jazz since the beginning of the 1980s” (New York Times), has been widely acknowledged for his restless eclecticism. He moves in yet another musical direction with Gone, Just Like a Train. Recorded in Burbank in 1997, it features Frisell with renowned drummer Jim Keltner and bassist Viktor Krauss in a jam-oriented rock-inflected set that reflects the wide emotional range of Frisell’s compositions.

Gone Is Gone, the rock supergroup featuring members of Mastodon, Queens of the Stone Age, and At the Drive-In, have officially announced their debut full-length album. The word “supergroup” gets thrown around in most of the coverage of Gone Is Gone. Composed of Troy Sanders (Mastodon), Tony Hajjar (At the Drive-In), Troy Van Leeuwen (Queens of the Stone Age), and film composer Mike Zarin, Gone Is Gone joins the recent crop of metal collaborations like Sumac and Palms. Metal remains ripe territory for cross-genre experimentation, which makes it unsurprising that even the most adventurous metal musicians continue to seek out new avenues for sonic discovery.
