With APO's release of yet another superior collection of contemporary blues recordings, it's clear that special things are happening at a converted cathedral in Salina, Kansas, called Blue Heaven Studios. One day, while APO artist Jimmie Lee Robinson was laying down his impressive legacy for the ace release "Remember Me", a scarcely recorded Kansas City harmonica legend named Provine Hatch, known as "Little Hatch", walked in with his wife for a look. After Hatch was asked to cut loose in spectacular fashion with tape rolling, guitar wizard Bill Nye was enlisted to fan the flames. Little Hatch proceeded to record the songs for "Goin' Back", mostly in single takes.

Deluxe 9-CD box set all re-mastered from the original ¼” master tapes, plus seven inch single of their 1974 flexi-disc ‘Monty Python’s Tiny Black Round Thing’. Although the seven inch single has "33 1/3 RPM" shown on both sides, this is actual a 45 RPM single.

2007 release that includes late '60s recordings from these Blues legends, originally recorded for the UK-based Blues label Blue Horizon. Both Mississippi Joe Callicott and Furry Lewis' Blues careers began in the '20s but both were overshadowed by the bigger Blues artists in their later years. Thankfully, Blue Horizon came calling and both men were able to lay down splendid Blues recordings during the latter years of their lives. 29 tracks including 'John Henry', 'Casey Jones', 'Waiting For A Train' and more.
