FC Metal Recordings will release FB1964 – Störtebeker on September 1, 2017, a concept album about Germany’s most infamous pirate, Klaus Störtebeker. Musically flying high the flag of classic 80’s metal & thrash, the FB1964 project was created by Frank Badenhop, who recruited numerous stellar guest vocalists and musicians to help his story come to life.

Over twenty years ago, a story of success began in the Austrian town of Eisenerz. What started out as a one-person operation in a cramped living-room, became one of the biggest record labels of the independent scene. Fans of the heavier genres have long come to know the name "Napalm Records". As of today, Napalm has released more than 600 albums – many of which have reached cult status. In the beginning, Napalm Records focused mainly on the black metal releases of bands like ABIGOR and SUMMONING. Although both managed to create a style all of their own, SUMMONING in particular was most successful in taking their unique atmospheric style way past the European borders to reach an unbelievable level of notoriety on an international level.

Death and thrash metal go together like peanut butter and jelly. Few bands capture the essence of a riff-driven thrash sound with sheer death-like anger so well like Dutch masters Legion of the Damned, who managed to successfully make a name for themselves since they were playing beautiful black/thrash as Occult. Always unleashing killer music, the group led by Erik Fleuren (drums) and Maurice “Sephiroth” Swinkels (vocals) pave their way to victory once again with 2019’s ‘Slaves of the Shadow Realm’…

Possessed by Fire is the debut full-length studio release by German thrash metal band Exumer.

Holy Dio: A Tribute to Ronnie James Dio is much better executed than most heavy metal tribute albums, even involving Dio himself, who pens an introduction for the liner notes. Most of the bands are culled from the portion of Century Media's stable that's influenced chiefly by British metal, often with a progressive or Gothic touch, which makes them a perfect fit for the tribute's subject. That doesn't mean all of them deliver - there are still a few performances that are too mannered or enslaved to the originals - but, overall, it's pretty effective for a tribute album. Bands present include Fates Warning, Yngwie Malmsteen, Hammerfall, Axel Rudi Pell, Gamma Ray, and Blind Guardian, among others.
