H R Giger

Documentary director David N. Jahn started working as an assistant at Giger's atelier in Zürich in 2000. After he returned back to Czech Republic, he co-operated with Giger as an initiator and consultee of the Prague exhibition, taking place from April, 14 - September, 13 2005. 
Jahn offered Giger to produce a DVD that would map his work and current life. The shooting took place at Giger's studio in Zürich and in Gruyéres where the H.R. Giger Museum and bar are located. In Vienna, they managed to film an interview with the Austrian fantastic artist Ernst Fuchs.

Nacido en Coira (Suiza) en 1940, estudió diseño industrial y de interiores durante ocho años en la Escuela de Arte Comercial en Zúrich (1962-1970), pero pronto empezó a acaparar la atención como artista independiente con proyectos que abarcan desde los paisajes oníricos surrealistas creados con una pistola pulverizadora y plantillas, hasta diseños de portadas de discos para famosas estrellas del pop y esculturas.
