Nana Mouskouri - eine Legende feiert 90. Geburtstag. Um diesen besonderen Anlass zu würdigen erscheint am 11.10.2024 die Compilation "Happy Birthday, Nana" mit ihren schönsten Hits. Ein ganz besonderes Geburtstaggeschenk hält das Royal Philharmonic Orchestra für die Künstlerin im Rahmen dieser Hit-Compilation bereit - drei ihrer größten Erfolge "Weiße Rosen aus Athen", "Guten Morgen Sonnenschein" und "Ave Maria" wurden vom Royal Philharmonic Orchestra neu arrangiert und eingespielt und sie erstrahlen nun in symphonischem Sound. Damit aber nicht genug - auch Nana Mouskouri hat sich auf diesem Album einen Wunsch erfüllt und den Titel " Pios échi Dakria" zum ersten Mal aufgenommen. Cage The Elephant will release their eagerly awaited sophomore album, Thank You, Happy Birthday, on January 11, 2011. Produced by Jay Joyce and recorded at Tragedy/Tragedy Studios in Nashville, TN, the album is the bands follow up to their critically acclaimed 2009 self titled debut, which has sold nearly 400,000 copies to date, spawned 3 top 5 singles at Alternative radio and has kept the band on the road for nearly two years. Now, Cage The Elephant returns with a 13 song collection of a raucous and inspired rock that displays an expanded sound for the band, and a bold reminder of exactly why they are one of the most loved bands in rock music today.

Quand Johnny se présente face à la foule du Parc de Sceaux le jour même de son anniversaire, il sait que ce concert ne sera pas comme les autres. Les nombreux artistes présents sur scène ou backstage sont là pour le lui rappeler.
Mais c’est surtout les « joyeux anniversaire » chantés par son public tout au long de la soirée qui donnent à ce live toute sa saveur.Au final du tour de chant sur « Non, je ne regrette rien » la communion entre l’artiste et ses milliers de fans est totale.Quelques minutes plus tôt Johnny les conjurait de mettre en pratique ces mots importants de Michel Berger sur sa chanson Aimer vivre : « Si c’est ton corps qui bouge c’est ton cœur qui fait tout ».
Ce soir-là Johnny et son public se retrouvait une nouvelle fois pour témoigner ensemble de cette amitié qui les accompagne depuis le début des années 60.

Né dans une famille de musiciens à Riga, en République socialiste soviétique de Lettonie, le 10 janvier 1948, Mischa Maisky apprend le violoncelle à l'âge de huit ans et entre en 1962 au Conservatoire de Leningrad. Après des débuts avec l'Orchestre philharmonique de Leningrad, il remporte en 1966 le 6e prix du Concours international Tchaîkovski et suit les cours de Mstislav Rostropovitch au Conservatoire de Moscou. Avant d'entamer une carrière internationale brillante, il est arrêté par les autorités et retenu pendant près de trois ans entre une prison et un camp de travail, puis rejoint sa soeur en Israël en 1972.

Правда рип с винила и непонятки с треками (см. трек-лист - честно переписанный с зада диска)), но сильно не пинайте (сделал mp3 одним файлом с cue-файлом). Насчет стиля - типа рок-н-рола, больше не скажу, т.к. с далекого детства имею аллергию на подобную музыку. Сам диск не слушал - так пару минут на предмет качества, т.к. рип делал не я, диск был приобретен на Горбушке (не мной).

Frédéric Chopin was the most famous composer of Polish origin in the history of Western concert music. He was a progressive who revolutionized the harmonic content, the texture, and the emotional quality of the small piano piece, turning light dance forms, nocturnes, and study genres into profound works that were both daring and deeply inward. Born Fryderyk Franciszek Chopin to a French father and a Polish mother, probably on March 1, 1810, he was a native of Zelazowa Wola village west of Warsaw.

Deluxe digitally remastered and expanded two CD edition. Having emerged from the ashes of beat boom hopefuls Mike Sheridan and The Night Riders, by late 1966 Birmingham band The Idle Race were looking for a new guitarist. The successful applicant was local teenager Jeff Lynne. By the time the band signed to Liberty Records, the prodigiously-talented Lynne - several years younger than his new colleagues - had been promoted to frontman status, blossoming as the band's chief songwriter while also taking lead vocals. After 'Skeleton And The Roundabout' had attracted much airplay but fallen just short of the charts, the band cut their debut album. Issued in October 1968, the idiosyncratic The Birthday Party gave notice of a major new talent on the British pop scene.
