John Barry's sensitive score to the 1982 biopic Frances harkens back to the Hollywood golden era that launched the film's subject, doomed actress Frances Farmer (played onscreen by Jessica Lange). "Let The Music Play" is the self-produced 5th album by American R&B singer Barry White, recorded in 1975 and released in January 1976 on the 20th Century label. The album reached #8 on the R&B albums chart and peaked at #42 on the Billboard 200. It also reached #22 on the UK Albums Chart. The album yielded the Billboard R&B Top Ten single, "Let The Music Play", which was actually an outtake from his previous album "Just Another Way To Say I Love You" and peaked at #4. It also reached #32 on the Billboard Hot 100 and #9 on the UK Singles Chart. Another single, "You See the Trouble with Me", reached #14 on the R&B chart and #2 on the UK Singles Chart. A third single, "Baby, We Better Try to Get It Together", reached #29 on the R&B Chart, #92 on the Billboard Hot 100, and #15 on the UK Singles Chart. The album was digitally remastered and reissued on CD with bonus tracks on February 14, 2012 by Hip-O Select.

Kritzerland is proud to present a limited edition soundtrack release – two great scores on one great CD. The Whisperers was originally issued on a United Artists LP and had a prior CD release on Ryko. That release, as was the case with several Ryko issues, had dialogue tracks added between the score tracks, which, for most people, completely interrupted the wonderful flow of Barry's original LP sequence. For this release, we have removed the added dialogue tracks and remastered the sound. The original United Artists LP of Equus, along with its prior CD release (also on Ryko - now long out of print), interspersed five of Burton's monologues (and a scene with Firth) among the score cues. Some of the monologues retained their own track and had no underscore, and some were bookended with musical cues. The result was a very nice listen for the first couple of times - after that, one wished that the score could simply be listened to as a score, on its own. So, for this release, we've done exactly that for the first time.

Diversions! is the 1968 album by Barry Booth. Originally credited to Barry Booth & His Orchestra, this pressing was reissued in 2002 by Castle Music.

Harry has performed with notable artists such as Vincent Gardner, Kate Ceberano, George Garzone, Vince Jones, Jamie Oehlers, Julien Wilson, Troy Roberts and Matt Jodrell. He has also performed with pop/rock artists Charlie Watts (Rollingstones), Katy Steele (Little Birdy) and Damien Leith, as well as recording piano on the recent Hank Marvin album, 'Without a Word'. In 2014 he won the Woss Scholarship (best recitalist) at the West Australian Acadamy of Performing Arts for jazz studies, and in 2015 received first class Honours in jazz performance. In 2017 he was awarded Young Australian Jazz Musician of the year at the AUS Bell awards, as well as being awarded 2016-2017 WAM and 2017-2018 Jazz song of the year. Harry has four studio albums to his name.
