Love & Money is Katie Melua’s 9th studio album; a stunning and personal 10 track snapshot of Katie as both an artist and human. Producer Leo Abrahams assembled an exceptional group of musicians with an astounding track record to complete the sound of the record. The album was recorded at Peter Gabriel’s iconic Real World Studios, before Katie and Abrahams took the tracks back to his own studio in Leyton, built over a WW2 bomb shelter. The album sees Katie reflecting on her place in the world; the bonuses and challenges of being a woman in the music industry and the delicate balance of career and family life, all brought to life in a lush moment of personal acceptance and catharsis. Katie will be facing some of these challenges on her UK & EU tour this April through May, which she is set to complete as a new mother following the birth of her first child. She plays 15 dates across the EU and 14 dates across the UK, including a landmark show at The Royal Albert Hall, London on 16th May. Originally from Tbilisi, Georgia, Katie Melua has travelled far in every sense.

Real Gone Music again proves a godsend for Dusty Springfield fans. In 2015, they released Come for a Dream: The Complete U.K. Sessions 1970-1971 that gathered 17 tracks from From Dusty with Love (A Brand New Me's British title) and 1972's See All Her Faces. Faithful: The Lost Atlantic Album, produced by Jeff Barry, appeared a year later. While A Brand New Me has been pored over for decades by fans and critics, and all but one of these cuts have been released on various compilations, they have never been assembled complete in one volume until now.

"Living Without Your Love" is the 11th studio album recorded by singer Dusty Springfield, and 10th released. The album was recorded in summer 1978 and released in early 1979. "Living Without Your Love" consequently became her last LP recorded for Phonogram, a company with which she had been associated, in various forms (Fontana Records/Philips Records/Mercury Records), for nearly twenty years. Two non-album singles produced by David Mackay were recorded and released in the UK that same year. "Baby Blue", written and co-produced by Trevor Horn, Geoff Downes, and Bruce Woolley, was a disco-pop track, which was also issued as an extended 12" single and became a minor club hit (#61), but "Your Love Still Brings Me to My Knees" never charted and the track became Springfield's swan song for Phonogram. Springfield stayed on in Los Angeles for another 10 years. It was also to be more than a decade before she released her next full-length album in the UK. In 2002, Mercury/Universal Music released "Living Without Your Love" on CD for the first time.

"Faithful" is the title of Dusty Springfield's planned 3rd album for Atlantic Records, and 7th recorded studio album overall, recorded in the first half of 1971. Two singles from the planned album, "I Believe In You" (b/w "Someone Who Cares"), and "Haunted" (b/w "Nothing Is Forever", a track not intended for the album) were released in the U.S. in the fall of 1971, but failed to chart nationally. Due to poor response from the two singles, and a rumoured falling out with Atlantic executives, Springfield's contract with the company was not renewed, and the planned album was shelved and never given a catalogue number or title.

Vol. 3 in acclaimed instrumental series finds Duane Eddy and his guitar Moovin' 'N' Groovin' and the Phil Upchurch Combo steppin' to the dancefloor with their fantastic, double-sided single You Can't Sit Down (Parts 1 & 2) (incidentally, this has, for its time - 1961, a floor-shaking, rootsy bass-guitar solo that predicts the later stylings of bassists like Willie Weeks). Here are UK Pop chart hits Perfidia by The Ventures (#4), Wipe Out by The Surfaris (#5), (Ghost) Riders In The Sky by The Ramrods (#8), Pipeline by The Chantays (#16), Quite A Party by The Fireballs (#29) and the afore-mentioned You Can't Sit Down (#39). Lesser known items by The Teen Beats (The Slop Beat) and Buddy Lucas (I Want To Know) help present a more complete picture of these instrumental years from the late 1950s to early 1960s (but are also included because they are so damn good!). The detailed sleevenotes are by Stuart Colman.
