Hercules And Love Affair

Anyone who's engaged disco with the same depth and seriousness that Hercules & Love Affair ringmaster Andrew Butler has, knows that by its nature and at its finest, this is a music of balances made in the spirit of losing one's balance. And among disco's glories is how these contrasting fundamentals play out: the celebratory and the elegiac, the social politics and personal emotions, pop songwriting and club functionality, the traditionally soulful and the technologically modern.

Always Ascending is the upcoming fifth studio album by Scottish indie rock band Franz Ferdinand. It will be released on 9 February 2018 through the Domino Recording Company. It is the band's first non-collaborative album in over four years, following Right Thoughts, Right Words, Right Action (2013). It is also their first album to feature new member Julian Corrie, who joined shortly after the departure of Nick McCarthy.

As 2015 was wrapping up, an unknown outfit called Joon Moon took the music world by surprise with its first single Chess. The four cuts on the Call Me EP, a beguiling mix of pop and soul, electronic music and jazz, melancholy and elegy, heralded a forthcoming album that was bound to leave a blast radius on landing.

To celebrate this 10th anniversary, Alex Kentucky sticks to popular downtempo known for its famous background beat that starts with Every Furtuna’s track “Hush” , Deepanima’s “Historia de un amor” and Fabian Kash’s “Twin”. The slow groove tempo don’t vary a lot till the relaxing sensual and romantic voices of Lisa Shaw featuring Miguel Megs Salted Vocal mix “I Can See It” and “Be Mine Allovers Redub” by Zhanna Ona break into this suite. In the continuation some other tracks as La serenata by DJ Pippi and Kenneth Bager before ending with Lavvy Levan’s “Hurt”. A pure Nassau Beach compilation.
