Soul Scramble: Tribute Collaboration Album is a Japanese compilation album released in 2001 featuring a wide range of artists whose specialties include playing their brand of soul music, Japanese style. Most of the songs are sung in their native songs although Lori Fine, originally from the American city of Portland, Oregon, and Bebel Gilberto, sing in English, while Crystal Kay sings some of her lyrics in English. Respected hip-hop producer DJ Premier put together the song for Japanese/soul singer Pushim. This was released by SMEJ Associated (Sony Music Entertainment (Japan)).

Color Change! is the 2008 CD by Japanese singer Crystal Kay. She is one half Japanese, one half African but full on amazing. She sings primarily in Japanese but is not afraid to throw out a few isolated English words in her tunes once in awhile, it is tender. If you would like to hear another great song by her, listen to a track she did with Hiroshi Fujiwara and Shinichi Osawa called "Lost Child" from the Soul Scramble compilation by heading here.

Soul Source: Jackson 5 Remixes 2 is the sequel to the first volume of J5 remixes released in 2000 by Motown Japan. Like the first one, this features a mixture of Japanese producers along with artists known in the "western" world, including the Jungle Brothers, DJ Spinna, and 4Hero. Just like the first volume which featured one song that was not a proper remix, the Jungle Brothers contribution is a cover of "It's Great To Be Here", done without their trademark rapping.
