Finding his inspiration while wandering through the diverse and amazing landscapes on the Canary Island La Palma, Gandalf interprets this place of never-ending spring with his signature blending of guitars, keyboards, and orchestral tones.

Vocalist and pianist Norah Jones developed a unique blend of jazz and traditional vocal pop, with hints of bluesy country and contemporary folk, due in large part to her unique upbringing. This Hi-Res collection includes all of Norah Jones' studio releases plus another one is collabotation with Billie Joe Armstrong.

After presenting a program of gnarly originals for quartet on ULTIMATUM, his Criss Cross debut, pianist George Colligan offers a beautifully paced trio recital. Mixing well-wrought originals with iconic standards like "Sophisticated Lady" and "Body and Soul" and such less-traveled repertoire as "Holiday for Strings" and "Three Views of a Secret", Colligan again displays the musicality and personal perspective that have marked his oeuvre over the past decade. The rhythm section: bassist Vinente Archer and master drummer Bill Stewart.

Nels Cline was named by Rolling Stone as one of the '100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time'. He has led various groups of his own, most consistently the avant-garde ensemble the Nels Cline Singers, and appeared as a guest or feature player on more than 200 albums. Whether playing with his own avant-jazz bands or Wilco, strangeness and invention are two of guitarist Nels Cline's defining characteristics. Since the 1980s, he's longed to cut a large-scale album of "mood music" revolving around the concept of love and romance. He made ever changing lists of tunes from the Great American Songbook, cinema, jazz, pop, and exotica, but thought the project beyond his capability.
