Holistic Musical Thinking

The conductor Marcelo Nadruz produced the CD Reiki with soft, selected songs that make the ideal soundtrack for therapy sessions. A special characteristic of this work is a soft Tibetan bell that rings every 3 minutes to remind the therapist of the right time to change the position of his hands, all in accordance with the music composition, chorus and instrumental conducting. Besides being a chorus conductor, Nadruz teaches musical theory and harmony in his hometown Porto Alegre, in Brazil. He has a long experience in holistic therapy and musicotherapy, acquired through courses, workshops and activities in the area. The perception of the human being as a whole (body, mind and spirit) has gained some increasing importance in the western way of thinking.
