Lykke Li returns with her fifth studio album EYEYE. The album is an eight track story about lust, attraction, attachment, and rejection; the landscape of love. The songs are inhabited by moving images that neither start nor end. Each film functions as a visual loop, concise as a haiku, yet continuing in perpetuity. The result is a somatic, repetitious experience. Compounding chapters between a dream and reality.

So Sad So Sexy (stylised so sad so sexy) is the upcoming fourth studio album by Swedish singer-songwriter Lykke Li, set to be released on 8 June 2018 by RCA.

“Honesty, heartbreak, love, lust, elation: Those concepts are in a lot of music that I love, but it's just never been something I've attempted on my own records,” DJ-turned-superproducer Mark Ronson tells Apple Music about the genesis of his fifth album. “When I dip into other people's worlds—whether it's Queens of the Stone Age or Gaga, whoever—that's when I get to work on deep s**t, but my own records should just be either record collector-y or for the dance floor.” But on the heels of a breakup, Ronson rallied a typically star-studded cast of collaborators, including Miley Cyrus, Lykke Li, and Alicia Keys, for sessions in New York and Los Angeles that plumbed personal topics previous albums would have danced right past. “It was the first time I couldn't really hide behind a concept,” he says. “It was like, 'No, no, you have to put yourself into the music this time.'” Here Ronson puts himself into telling the stories behind each track on Late Night Feelings.

In the film The Vow, bride to be (Rachel McAdams) survives a car crash and wakes from a coma without any memory of her future husband (Channing Tatum). Befitting the not-so-subtle Harlequin novel-inspired setup, the soundtrack begins with Meat Loaf's arena-sized 1993 hit "I'd Do Anything for Love (But I Won't Do That)". What follows is an expertly crafted love letter to 21st century romance, with highlights arriving by way of Swedish siren Lykke Li ("Get Some"), psych-country balladeers Phosphorescent ("Nothing Was Stolen (Love Me Foolishly)"), and majestic, mascara-pop overlords The Cure ("Pictures of You").
