I Will Say Goodbye

"How Many Times Can We Say Goodbye" is the 1983 album by soul singer Dionne Warwick. This release pairs Dionne with R&B legend & Producer Luther Vandross. This Expanded & Remastered Edition contains six bonus tracks of which one is a previously until now un-released.

Under the artistic direction of Richard Galliano, the greatest artists of Jazz and Song will gather on stage to celebrate in music the memory of the composer. Accompanied by Michel Legrand’s big-band, Natalie Dessay, Michel Portal, Ibrahim Maalouf, Bireli Lagrene, Sylvain Luc, Nana Mouskouri, Marie Oppert and many others will pay homage to his incomparable career and share their emotion in music.

Cæcilie Norby is one of the best living danish jazz singers - 11 nominations for 'Danish Vocal Jazz Album of the Year'. In "Arabesque", she returns to her classical roots. She wrote both the music (some of it together with her husband, bassist Lars Danielsson who is also the producer of her albums) and the texts for most of the 15 tracks of the album, based on classical themes by Ravel, Faure, Satie, Rimsky-Korsakov, Debussy in addition to some tracks composed by Michel Legrand , one Abbey Lincoln song (Wholly Earth) and one composition by her father.

Alternating between soprano, tenor and baritone saxes in this collection of straight-ahead jazz for the Japanese market, Barney Wilen refuses to be pinned down to a single tone quality or approach, even on the same instrument. Among other things, he mimics the lagging phrasing of Lady Day on "You've Changed" on soprano, "Blues Walk" bumps along agreeably on baritone while "Old Devil Moon" is sustained and humorous, and "Mack the Knife" is converted into a glacial smoky ballad with almost casual nonchalance.

Barney Wilen had a style that wasn't like anyone else. On this album he exhibits a cool smokey tone and plays these tunes straight ahead. For example, on Mack the Knife, there is no attitude of fake hipness to get in the way of the melody. It doesn't sound like cliched versions of a 50's hipster or someone trying too hard to make something new out of it.

Now That I've Found You: A Collection is an album by Alison Krauss, released in February 1995. It is a retrospective of the early part of Krauss' recording career. It includes songs that appeared on her solo albums, albums by Alison Krauss & Union Station, and some that appeared on an album by Alison Krauss & the Cox Family. It also contains some new material.

"Tell Me I'm Pretty" is the indie/alternative/rock group's 2015 release. Band leader Matt Schultz is quoted as describing the album: "With this record, we wanted to be more transparent.
