Papik is the now well known project created by Nerio Poggi, Rome based musician, composer, producer and arranger who's been getting a lot of positive response from the international Nu-Jazz /Jazz Lounge scene in the last few years. His first album in 2009, 'Rhythm Of Life', included the song 'Staying For Good', sung by Alan Scaffardi, which was and still is a hit on it's genre. His collaboration with various artists, which includes amongst others Mario Biondi in his album 'Handful of soul' and 'I love you more', brought Nerio to produce in 2011 Ely Bruna's Album 'Remember The Time' and Fred Buccini 'Unusual Nat'. Both are themed Covers projects out on Irma Records that obtained a great International feedback.
On his follow up Album 'Music Inside' which came out in 2012, the lead vocals are again by Parma based Alan Scaffardi, now official frontman of the Band, together with Nerio himself and Ely Bruna. Music Inside was also released in Japan where the full Live Band performed at the historic Blue Note in Tokyo for Two Sold Out Concerts.
