Adelmo Fornaciari Cavaliere di Gran Croce OMRI, more commonly known by his stage name Zucchero Fornaciari or simply Zucchero, is an Italian singer-songwriter and musician, with an Order of Merit of the Italian Republic. His stage name, Zucchero, is the Italian word for sugar, as his elementary teacher used to call him. His music is largely inspired by gospel, soul, blues and rock music, and alternates between Italian ballads and more rhythmic R&B-boogie-like pieces. He is credited as the "father of Italian blues", introducing blues to the big stage in Italy. He is one of the few European blues artists who still enjoy great international success.

Ritmi incalzanti, produzione che strizza l'occhio al mondo dell'elettronica, ritornelli cantabili e radiofonici, atmosfere vivaci: "Mi hai fatto fare tardi", la canzone scelta come singolo apripista, rappresenta bene i colori musicali e il mood di "Modern art", quarto album in studio della cantautrice piacentina. Le differenze rispetto al precedente, "Frasi & fumo", si sentono: quel disco, prodotto da Mauro Pagani, era un omaggio alla musica nera e alla tradizione italiana anni '60 e '70, classico e molto suonato. "Modern art", invece, è un disco urbano e tropicale, come Nina Zilli ha ripetuto nelle varie interviste: se "Frasi & fumo" te lo immaginavi suonato in uno di quei club con tavolinetti, tavoli da biliardo e un piccolo palco sullo sfondo, questo nuovo disco te lo immagini suonato su una spiaggia di Kingston all'ora del tramonto.

Bach is in the air nasce da un piccolo miracolo, ed è Danilo Rea, pianista improvvisatore, con alle spalle un passato di studi classici, che intuisce ancor prima che questo miracolo accada, la genialità di poterlo realizzare. Ma la cosa più incredibile è che per la prima volta nella storia della musica, attraverso l'improvvisazione, Danilo rivoluziona e crea un intreccio insolubile con le versioni originali di Bach-Bahrami, in linguaggio jazzistico il suo messaggio universale. Un progetto che rappresenta un unicum, verrebbe da dire inimitabile: la specializzazione di Bahrami insieme all’estro e alla fantasia, mai fini a se stessi, di Rea. Una rivisitazione che non intende certo tradirne il messaggio - Bach sa difendersi da solo-, ma semmai di coglierne lo spirito contemporaneo e gettare un ponte verso orecchie abituate diversamente, che negli intendimenti del duo servirà solo a dare ulteriore diffusione a questo gigante, che a tre secoli di distanza mantiene tutta la sua attualità.

A creative journey into the world of cinema with new arrangements - by Klaus Gesing and Glauco Venier - of music by Nino Rota, Michel Legrand, William Walton, Bernard Herrmann, and Ennio Morricone for the movies of Scorsese, Godard, Wenders, Jewison, Zeffirelli, Olivier and more. Several of the arrangements incorporate new words by Norma Winstone who, in addition to being one of the great jazz singers, has long been a sensitive lyricist. For this project, her acclaimed trio with Gesing and Venier is augmented by two special guests: Norwegian improvising percussionist Helge Andreas Norbakken and Italian classical cellist Mario Brunello.
