The events preceding the April 2010 oil leak in the Gulf of Mexico caused by an explosion on the Deepwater Horizon offshore drilling rig killed 11 persons and wounded 17. The rig burned for two days before sinking, resulting in the greatest ocean oil leak in history as well as the worst environmental disaster in US history. This documentary features firsthand testimonies from individuals aboard the rig, rescue crews, and residents who witnessed the disaster’s impact along the coasts of Texas, Louisiana, and Alabama.
