If one song can sum up the rip-roaring energy on Jason Aldean’s eighth studio album, it’s “Gettin’ Warmed Up,” a swirling mix of electric-guitar riffs, country-rock choruses, and an explosive rap interlude. “You need a good time?/Well, I brought it,” he spits with the fire of a Beastie Boy. Rearview Town is indeed a good-time ruckus, full of swaggering, arena-ready country anthems backed by rock muscle (“Up in Smoke,” “Set It Off”). A tender moment arrives in “Drowns the Whiskey,” an expressive, harmony-driven duet with Miranda Lambert. Album closer “High Noon Neon,” the inspiration for his accompanying tour, leaves the energy at a 10.
Vladimir Cosma became a highly regarded and hugely prolific soundtrack composer for the French cinema in the 60s and 70s. As the title says, 40 Films - 40 Bandes Originales. All remastered in high definition onto 17 CDs and beautifully packaged in a handsome box as shown. Including the soundtracks from the iconic film 'Diva', 'Mistral's Daughter', 'The Closet', this set amply demonstrates Cosma's ability to compose good, sometimes great, music to accompany these films, while also borrowing from classics and contemporary pop.

From here I started to teach myself how to play woodwind instruments. I released my first New Age piece of music in 1988 called 'Aura', with the participation of the harpist María Tereza Briamonte…
Emile Parisien this year received the prestigious French jazz award Victoires du Jazz as "musician of the year" and in 2012 won the Prix Django Reinhardt . Such accolades are evidence of a supreme talent, now given an international platform by ACT. The saxophonist has appeared on ACT once before, in the Duo Series alongside Vincent Peirani, but his Quartet is a different beast altogether, honed over the course of three albums into a tightly cohesive unit which enables the musicians to tackle the abstract time signatures and swift changes with consummate ease.
