Ludwig Göransson is a Los Angeles-based Swedish musician best known for his often playful film and television scores. Göransson grew up with a musician father and began music lessons at a young age. Reared mostly on pop/rock, he branched into jazz and classical in his teens, and went on to graduate from the Royal College of Music in Stockholm. He then relocated to Los Angeles, enrolled in the Scoring for Motion Picture and Television program at the University of Southern California, and soon found work as an assistant to film composer Theodore Shapiro (Old School, Tropic Thunder, St. Vincent), who shared Göransson's penchant for comedy.

Sony Classical will release a score album for the sports drama Creed II. The album features the film’s original music composed by Ludwig Göransson (Black Panther, Venom, Fruitvale Station, Community) who previously scored the 2015 original Creed movie, including collaborations with Vince Staples, A$AP Rocky and Jacob Banks. Also included is the songs Time Tick and I Will Go to War performed by Tessa Thompson. The soundtrack will be released tomorrow, November 16 and will be available to download on Amazon. As previously reported, Interscope & Eardruma Records are releasing a separate album featuring the songs from the movie. Creed II is directed by Steven Caple Jr. and stars Michael B. Jordan, Sylvester Stallone, Tessa Thompson, Wood Harris, Russell Hornsby, Florian “Big Nasty” Munteanu, Andre Ward, Phylicia Rashad and Dolph Lundgren. The drama will be released in theaters nationwide next Wednesday, November 21 by MGM.

Although more Grandmix editions have been made like the 80's and 90's editions, this marks the 28th annual Grandmix and is broadcasted on Radio 538. Unfortunately some foreign record companies consider the Grandmix as just another compilation license request. Their lack of knowledge of DJ and mix history sometimes leaves them stuck in unnecessary restricting company policies. All Dutch dance related companies are no problem, as most of the people working there got into the dance music business because of the early Grandmixes. Armada, Spinnin' and News are absolutly fabulous in their cooperation for which I, in return, am very greatful.
