Wisconsin-born, Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter and guitarist, Jared James Nichols, returns with his new album “Black Magic” which is the follow up to 2015’s debut album “Old Glory & The Wild Revival”. “Black Magic” features 10 tracks and will be released by Listenable Records on Friday 27th October. All tracks on the new album were recorded at The Boneyard in Boston as well as Johnny Depp's home studio in Los Angeles and produced and co-written by Tony Perry and Jared James Nichols. Jared will be special guest on Stone Broken’s February and March UK tour which also features The Bad Flowers. The tour kicks off Thursday 22nd February at the Haunt in Brighton. Underground folk legend Malcolm Holcombe releases his twelfth full length album, Another Black Hole. Comprised of 10 new songs, Malcolm is accompanied by his usual recording ensemble of Jared Tyler on dobro, David Roe on bass, and Ken Coomer on drums. Very special guest Tony Joe White is also featured on several tracks, with his inimitable swamp guitar sound, propelling Malcolm's distinctive Appalachian folk into regions previously untapped. Also appearing are Future Man percussion and Drea Merritt on vocal harmonies. Another Black Hole is sure to captivate both long term fans as well as be a revelation to the uninitiated.

Sherman Holmes’ solo debut The Richmond Sessions can’t help being a milestone: it’s the esteemed singer and bassist’s first recording since the passing of his brother and musical partners in the Holmes Brothers, Wendell Holmes and Popsy Dixon, both in 2015. But his solo debut, dedicated to the memories of Wendell and Popsy, is no somber affair. The blend of bluegrass, gritty rock ‘n’ roll, and joyful gospel will be familiar to Holmes Brothers fans. And with some of his strongest vocals to date, the album demonstrates that Sherman is still an artist in his prime.

With funky, soulful riffs, rampant melodies, hooky songcraft and markedly smooth production, Holy Roller Baby sound like a band with some measure of experience behind them on their upcoming debut album, Frenzy. As well they should since the Texas-based band (Austin and Dallas) features three-fourths of the defunct Heavy Glow.
