"L idée de cette formation m a été suggérée par Jean-Philippe Mauras (Lenn Production). Ma complicité avec Bernard Le Dréau remonte à plus de vingt-cinq ans. Nous avons partagé diverses aventures musicales (Sirius, an Tour tan, mes trois symphonies, La plage…). La rencontre avec Jérôme Kerihuel est plus récente (2007). Notre premier concert en duo eut lieu au stade de Rennes devant 25000 personnes alors qu il remplaçait exceptionnellement mon ami Jean -Popof- Chevalier. Depuis, avec Jérôme, j ai enregistré trois albums (Estran, Adarre et Mexico). Sonate en trio reprend des thèmes composés pour mes albums précédents (sauf Keramoal, écrit par Jérôme), revisités, réarrangés, dans un autre esprit et des couleurs différentes. En passant, à mon invitation, le barde Manu Lann Huel a dit le poème Co-naissance de Jean-Bernard Vighetti. Bon voyage à tous." –Didier Squiban

Jean-Pierre, agent de football, a accepté de garder Didier, le chien d'Annabelle, une amie journaliste de cinéma. Au cours de la nuit, le labrador est transformé en être humain, du moins en apparence ; psychologiquement, Didier est toujours un chien. Aux prises avec Richard, le patron du club de football qui l'emploie, Jean-Pierre n'avait pas besoin d'un problème supplémentaire en plus de ses soucis avec ses joueurs vedettes (Fabrice et Baco) blessés une semaine avant un match très important contre le PSG. Didier va alors l'aider et remplacer les joueurs blessés. Mais la véritable mission de Didier est de réconcilier Jean-Pierre avec sa petite amie Maria.

Didier (1996)

In this French fantasy-comedy, a magical moonbeam turns a dog into a man's best friend. Annabelle (Caroline Cellier) is a reporter who is sent on an overseas assignment and doesn't think it would be such a great idea to bring Didier, her Golden Retriever, along, so she leaves the pooch in the care of her friend Costa (Jean-Pierre Bacri). Costa is less than excited about being handed dogsitting duties, since he has enough on his mind as it is; he's the coach of a soccer team that has been playing poorly since their star player was sidelined with an injury, and his girlfriend has just given him his walking papers. But one evening a moonbeam glides over Didier, and suddenly the dog is magically transformed into a man (played by Alain Chabat), as luck would have it for Costa, a man who happens to be a really great soccer player.

19 July 1944, Arcy sur Cure, France. Levallet is largely a self-taught bass player who studied journalism at L’Ecole Superieure de Journalisme de Lille (1963-66) and went on for a short time to study bass at Lille Conservatory. He moved to Paris in 1969 and played with a wide range of local and visiting musicians including Ted Curson, Hank Mobley, Mal Waldron and Johnny Griffin. He worked with the free-jazz quartet Perception through the 70s and worked in the USA with tenor saxophonist Byard Lancaster (1974-76).

Violinist Didier Lockwood tackled a formidable task by dedicating an entire CD to the legendary violinist Stephane Grappelli, who died just shy of his 90th birthday in December, 1997. Although Grappelli's influence on his playing is obvious at times, he is no carbon copy. He generally has a darker tone and doesn't use nearly as many up-tempo runs. With two brilliant partners, bassist Niels Pedersen (who worked with Grappelli on a few dates) and guitarist Birelli Lagrene, Lockwood does a credible job.
