John Kim

Kim Vincent Fowley (July 21, 1939 – January 15, 2015) was an American record producer, singer and musician. He is best known for his role behind a string of novelty and cult pop rock singles in the 1960s, and for managing the Runaways in the 1970s.In addition, he is credited with being the inspiration behind promoter John Brower's call to John Lennon that resulted in the last-minute appearance of the Plastic Ono Band at the Toronto Rock and Roll Revival on September 13, 1969, where Fowley was the emcee. At this event, Fowley also created the iconic experience of having the audience light matches and lighters to welcome a nervous John Lennon to the stage.

"Chasin' Wild Trains" is the thirteenth studio album by Kim Carnes, released in 2004. It was Carnes' first full-length album since 1991's "Checkin' Out the Ghosts" which was released only in Japan and her first to be released both in the U.S. and internationally since 1988's "View from the House". "Chasin' Wild Trains" was originally released by the Sparky Dawg Music label in the U.S. and later re-issued internationally by Dutch label Corazong. The album did not chart, however.

Much Latin American music occupies a unique space between popular and "classical," rarely going to either extreme. On this recital of Latin American works mostly arranged for cello and piano (or guitar), the most formal work is the Sonata for cello and piano in G minor of Manuel Ponce, who also wrote the pop classic Estrellita, which is also included. It is mostly players from the region who record this music, but Louisianan John-Henry Crawford delivers a fine sense of enthusiasm at meeting the tradition for the first time.

Some Morning is the first solo release by Grammy-nominated Kim Nazarian. Well-known to jazz fans around the world as a founding member of New York Voices, Kim is one of the most accomplished vocalists on the scene today. This project highlights Kim’s talents not only as a singer, but also as a lyricist and an arranger. Some Morning features some of the most well-known names in jazz, including her husband, Jay Ashby, the five-time Grammy Award-winning producer and trombonist. Special guests include Gary Burton, Paquito D’Rivera, John Pizzarelli, Sean Jones, Roger Humphriesand Jamey Haddad.
