The second solo release of The Black Keys frontman Dan Auerbach, entitled "Waiting On A Song". The album follow-up to 2009's "Keep It Hid". Dan has described the LP as his "love letter to Nashville", the city he's resided in since leaving Akron, Ohio seven years ago. The 10-track effort showcases collaborations with Nashville-based icons like John Prine, Duane Eddy, Jerry Douglas, Pat McLaughlin and The Memphis Boys' Bobby Wood and Gene Chrisman, as well as guitarist Mark Knopfler.

Dan Auerbach will release Waiting On A Song, his second solo album, via his new label, Easy Eye Sound. The album is Auerbach’s much anticipated follow-up to 2009’s Keep It Hid and is a love letter to Nashville. As such, he recruited some of Nashville’s most respected players to write and record his latest, including John Prine, Duane Eddy, Jerry Douglas, Pat McLaughlin and Bobby Wood and Gene Chrisman of the Memphis Boys.

Matt Urmy's new album 'Out Of The Ashes,' out March 31st, is a giant leap forward for the Nashville storyteller who has harnessed his weathered singing and old-school country and folk storytelling. Soul and blues singer Robert Finley will release his second studio album, Goin’ Platinum! via Easy Eye Sound. The album captures a singer at his prime, surrounded by all-time- great session musicians with skill to match his singular voice, including drummer Gene Chrisman (Elvis Presley, Aretha Franklin) keys player Bobby Woods (JJ Cale, Bobby Womack), horns players from Preservation Hall and legendary guitarist Duane Eddy. Goin’ Platinum! was co-written and produced by The Black Key’s Dan Auerbach and also features writing credits by legendary songwriters John Prine, Nick Lowe, and Pat McLaughlin.

American Folk is the soundtrack to the award-winning 2018 independent film, American Folk, starring Joe Purdy and Amber Rubarth. In addition to both original compositions and classic folk song renditions by Purdy and Rubarth, the soundtrack includes John Prine's ''Some Humans Ain't Human'' and Jerry Garcia & David Grisman's ''Freight Train.''

The song was an early introduction to her performing persona, an occasion for her to wear her irreverent outlook as a badge of honor and slyly boast: "Grandma cried when I pierced my nose / Never liked doing what I was told."

Famed for his clear and mellow tenor voice, Mac Wiseman recorded with many great bluegrass bands, including those of Molly O'Day, Flatt & Scruggs, Bill Monroe, and the Osborne Brothers. His command of traditional material made him much in demand by bluegrass and folk fans alike. Wiseman was born in Crimora, Virginia, and grew up influenced by traditional and religious music and such radio stars as Montana Slim Carter. He started out working as a radio announcer in Harrisonburg in 1944; at the same time, he worked as a singer with Buddy Starcher. Wiseman later formed his own group and continued performing with others, including Molly O'Day and Flatt & Scruggs, through the '40s.
