After the 'Plus près de vous' tour came to an end, Johnny wanted to keep a memory of his reunion with Bercy, where he had not sung for 15 years. The last two dates of December 20 and 21 are captured but the images remain blocked. Deprived of this recording, fans demonstrate, going so far as to draft a petition gathering several thousand signatures. That went unanswered - until now!

An icon in the French-speaking world since the beginning of his career, he was considered by some to have been the French Elvis Presley. Hallyday remains largely unknown outside of the Francophone world, thus earning the nickname "the biggest rock star you've never heard of" in English-speaking countries.

Johnny Hallyday Fils d'Huguette Clerc (1920-2006) et d'un père belge Léon Smet (1908-1989), Jean-Philippe Smet - alias Johnny Hallyday - voit le jour le 15 juin 1943 à la Cité Malesherbes à Paris. Quelques mois après sa naissance, son père quitte le foyer, obligeant sa mère à reprendre une activité professionnelle. Le bébé est alors confié à sa tante paternelle, Hélène Mar, qui l'élève avec l'aide de ses filles Menen et Desta.
