Kosmos

So why is this album called Pomegranate? Many reasons… it's powerful and symbolic - Persephone ate pomegranate seeds in Hades and that meant she had to stay in Hades and created the four seasons. It is argued that it was a pomegranate, not an apple, that tempted Eve, there are many references to pomegranates in the Old Testament and is important to Jewish cultural history. Pomegranate grows like a miracle out of dry dusty land, grows in most of the countries where we are taking our inspiration from and it is important and symbolic to nearly all those places. They are a fruit, their juice is sweet but tart and they are used in both savoury dishes and desserts and they have large appeal and they are full of antioxidants that have a great benefit for all of us (like we hope our music has too…!)

From out of a snowy, barren landscape, a man appears. He's running, though from what we do not know. The valley ahead holds a large town, modern in convenience but ancient in design. Just before reaching the town, the man (Kosmos) hears the screams of a girl (Neptun) from the other side of an icy river. Neptun's younger brother has fallen into the swift waters and drowned. Kosmos pulls the boy from the river and revives him with his mysterious, healing powers. Grateful for this heroic feat, the townspeople welcome Kosmos as an honored guest (a gesture they soon live to regret).

To get the most out of Kosmos Infekted you should have the full version of Kontakt 5.3, although there is support for Kontakt 4 with a few features missing.

A strange man with otherworldly talents becomes both a friend and a pariah in a small Turkish town in this drama from writer and director Reha Erdem. Yahya (Hakan Altuntas) is nearly in a panic when his young son falls into the river on a wintry day and looks lifeless when he's pulled from the water. But a stranger appears out of nowhere and takes the boy in his arms, and suddenly the child is breathing and perfectly healthy again. Yahya and his teenage daughter Neptun (Turku Turan) are grateful to the stranger, who they discover is named Kosmos (Sermet Yesil), and they bring him into town, where they offer to find him a place to stay…..
