Karoline Wallace

Karoline's grandmother’s garden may look like any other garden, but the magic lies in that most of the plants grow from cuttings from various stages of her life, such as her childhood home, her daughter's wedding bouquet, trips around the world and much more.

The Norwegian singer, composer and arranger, Karoline Wallace, will release her album: Lang vinter - meaning “Long Winter”. It’s her first record in her own name on Øra Fonogram. She has brought along an octet of excellent jazz and folk musicians who will surely pull you out of winter hibernation.

The jazz musician Julius Windisch, operating from Berlin, is a technically gifted and adventurous keyboard player. He has been active on the record front for a number of years and has often collaborated with vocalists (Laura Polence, Mette Nadja Hansen, Joao Neves, Jura Elena Sedyte, Karoline Wallace, Birgitty Lyregaard, Johanna Sulkunen, Karen Tortzen).
