‘Today Was A Good Day’ is Lucy’s fifth studio album and is scheduled to be released in May 2019.

Three on the Trail, the Riders in the Sky's debut album, established their tongue-in-cheek tribute to cowboys and western music. Though the humor is piled on a little thicker here than on their later releases, the music is often quite good and they never deviated from this formula – slightly ironic covers, affectionate jokes and made-to-order originals on any of their subsequent records. They also rarely did it any better.

Laurel Premo presents a new instrumental project diving deep into traditional and new fiddle music and musically revealing a bloom of underlying harmonic drones, minimalist repetition, and rich polyrhythms. Responding to Premo's fiddling is the metrical yet wavelike sustain of electric and acoustic guitar and an extreme second fiddle – double bass. Laurel Premo is fully leaning in to the archaic fiddle melodies and in-between intonations that connect folk sounds to the mystic and unknown. Featured collaborators on the record are double bassist Evan Premo, and guitarists Owen Marshall and Joshua Davis.

Premiering today is the single, “Shine On” by Atticus Ross and Claudia Sarne, featuring vocals by Satomi Matsuzaki of indie band, Deerhoof. The song comes off the forthcoming album, Earthquake Bird (Original Music From The Netflix Film) featuring score by Atticus Ross, Leopold Ross and Claudia Sarne — out Friday, November 15 on Lakeshore Records and Invada Records. The incomparable Danish guitarist Niclas Knudsen has, with the project "Everything is ego" produced yet another musical treat from his musical witch kettle, where rock, jazz, blues, afrobeat and ragas are mixed into a dynamic and playful whole, which almost evokes description. To "Everything is the ego" concert at Tobaksgaarden May 11th at. At 21.00 you can also get to experience Niclas Knudsen in the role of both singer and songwriter - without it being at the expense of the extraordinary guitar game Knudsen is known for.

Embracing his third album with Internet Arms, Diane Coffee presents fans with a rather perplexing directional shift. Helmed by the fabulous Shaun Fleming, a noted voice actor and friend of Foxygen, the genderless project first struck gold with My Friend Fish in 2013, a smoothly soulful California sunshine pop slacker throwback journey of an album that succeeded despite (or, one may argue, because of) recording limitations.

This fifth album from the former X Factor contestant is the follow-up to 2017's I Hope You Don't Mind Me Writing and is her debut for Cooking Vinyl. Produced by Jon Maguire (Calum Scott, Kodaline) and featuring the chirpy single "Lucky Stars," the album, filled with more of Spraggan's trademark melodic folk-pop, coasts along on a wave of positivity, with the singer sounding more confident and polished than ever.
