Hays Street Hart, the trio of pianist Kevin Hays, bassist Ben Street, and legendary drummer Billy Hart, recorded their acclaimed 2021 debut, ALL THINGS ARE, under less than optimal conditions. The album began life as a performance in honor of Hart’s 80th birthday in December 2020, live-streamed from an empty Smoke Jazz Club in the final weeks of that grueling pandemic year. Despite those adversities, the music they created that night was spectacular enough to convince all involved that it should be released.

The final disc of the set focuses on Ronnie’s time in the US with live highlights and studio tracks never previously released. The set also featured lots of rare and unreleased material – be prepared to here fantastic cover versions of The Wanderer, Rocket’ 69 and The Joint Is Jumpin’ as well as unheard Ronnie compositions plus live recordings, tracks for the BBC and highlights from a legendary Rockpalast concert. The set is curated by long time musical associate of Ronnie’s, Slim Chancer musician Charlie Hart. Comprehensive sleevenotes focus on Ronnie the musician, the songwriter, the collaborator and split the post ’73 period into three distinct parts . Writers are Paolo Hewitt, Kris Needs and Kent Benjamin covering Ronnie’s Austin years.

Driving Towards the Daylight is the tenth studio album by blues rock guitarist Joe Bonamassa, released on May 22, 2012. Recorded at The Village Recorder in Los Angeles, CA and Studio at the Palms in Las Vegas, NV, Driving Towards the Daylight is a balanced and "back-to-basics album that highlights Bonamassa’s signature style of blues, roots, and rock & roll". Driving Towards the Daylight was produced by Kevin "Caveman" Shirley (Black Crowes, Aerosmith, Led Zeppelin), making this Bonamassa and Shirley's seventh album collaboration in six years. The album debuted at number 2 in the UK. This constitutes the highest performance to date of a Joe Bonamassa album on a non-blues- or rock-specific chart. In Canada, the album debuted at number 55. In the U.S. the album debuted at number 1 on the Blues albums chart and number 23 on the Billboard 200.

Now, honing his skills and patiently laying the groundwork over ten years of utter dedication, Jonokuchi is poised to release A Decade, a big band album featuring compositions that not only outline the signature flourish of the bandleader’s writing that earned him opportunities writing for Terell Stafford and Dick Oatts, but stands as an autobiographical testament to Jonokuchi’s ability to conquer every imaginable hurdle placed before him.
