King Crimson

THRAK is the eleventh studio album by the band King Crimson released in 1995, the successor to the mini-album VROOOM (1994). This album was recorded in the "double trio" format of King Crimson. With the band consisting of two guitarists, two bassists and two drummers the opening track begins with all six musicians in the center of the mix. Then as the track gets going they are split into two trios (guitar, bass and drums) with three going to the left channel and three going to the right. King Crimson 1969-1972 is a limited edition boxed set presenting the band's celebrated quartet of studio albums from that period — In The Court Of The Crimson King, In The Wake Of Poseidon, Lizard, Islands — in their 40th anniversary edition mixes (created by Steven Wilson and Robert Fripp between 2009-2010).

featured are a complete album's worth of Elemental Mixes by long-time King Crimson producer (& band manager) David Singleton - using the original multi-track recordings to present a very different audio picture of the album, with greater separation of instruments & utilizing many recorded elements recorded for, but not included in, the original mixes.

King Crimson’s 1973 album Larks’ Tongues in Aspic is to be reissued for its 50th anniversary in an all encompassing four-disc set that includes brand new Steven Wilson Dolby Atmos, 5.1 and stereo mixes and “the complete recordings of every session recorded for the album”.

DGM has long promised to bring the King Crimson Collectors' Club to 50 discs and we are pleased to announce a combined Club 49/50 to complete this special series. This CD/DVD set is packaged in a jewel case with much not-to be-missed material, including recently discovered live footage. The CD/DVD package features the complete final two shows played on July 11, 1984, partly used for the Absent Lovers release. The CD contains entirely unreleased tracks. The DVD contains both shows in full, as well as two sections of footage filmed by legendary bassist and stick player Tony Levin in 1982.
