If Only There Was A River is the first full-length studio album from Anna st. Louis. The songwriter, who originally hails from Kansas City, began writing songs after moving to Los Angeles five years ago and has previously released a cassette of recordings on Woodsist / Mare Records, appropriately titled First Songs. The tape received notice from NPR: All Songs Considered, Pitchfork, and Stereogum. On her proper debut, St. Louis spreads her wings and expands on the promise hinted at on First Songs. To achieve that end, she enlisted Kyle Thomas (King Tuff) and Kevin Morby to produce the album, which was engineered by Thomas in his home in Mount Washington, LA.

These pages are a tribute to the man that was born in 1944 or 1945 in Spanish Town, Jamaica as Michael James Williams.
He became well known under his stage names ''King Cry Cry'' and ''Prince Far I''. Prince Far I started his career in the early 70's with a tune for Bunny Lee called ''The Great Booga Wooga''. Later on he recorded songs for Joe Gibbs and eventually started his own label called ''Cry Tuff''. Prince Far I is sadly no longer with us, he was murdered the 15th of September 1983.
It's like Prince Far I sang in the song called ''Heavy Manners'' from the album ''Under Heavy Manners'':

Plays More Blues, Ballads & Favorites is blues-rock pioneer Jimmie Vaughan s second helping of covers of the roots music that inspired him, with versions of songs by Ray Charles, Hank Williams Sr., Lloyd Price, Jimmy Reed, and others. The album was recorded in Austin, Texas, and features legendary blues singer Lou Ann Barton joining him once again, on three tracks. Vaughan founded the iconic Fabulous Thunderbirds in 1974,and they became famous for the high-octane blues-rock sound that earned them critical acclaim in the '70s and platinum albums in the '80s. In 1990, Vaughan recorded a duets album, Family Style, with his brother, Stevie Ray Vaughan, shortly before the latter's untimely death, and then went on to a successful solo career.
