King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard surprised fans on Wednesday with the release of a new live album featuring recordings from the band’s milestone shows at Red Rocks Amphitheatre. Entitled Live At Red Rocks ’22, the album includes a staggering 86 tracks from KGLW’s first-ever shows at the iconic Colorado venue, where they played three-hour marathon sets on October 10th and 11th and November 2nd, 2022.

The schizophrenic psych-metal band King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard have released the third and fourth volumes of their excellent Demos series, and they're also encouraging their fans to bootleg the set. The 26-song collection is available now on Bandcamp and spans the group's short but nonetheless prolific career, including outtakes from their most recent LP, Omnium Gatherum.

The Bandcamp Friday force is strong with King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard today. The Australian psych-rock crew have released not one, but two lengthy projects on the beloved digital music platform: a 28-song demos collection and an 18-track live album.

Fishing for Fishies is the upcoming fourteenth Studio album by Australian psychedelic rock band King Gizzard and Lizard Wizard.

King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard's sense of unfettered sonic exploration makes it easy to mistake them for a long-forgotten relic of the psych explosion of the 1960s. With a far-out sound that, at times, feels barely held together, King Gizzard evoke the eclectic rock experimentation of Frank Zappa's early work with the Mothers of Invention, the anything-goes feeling of the Flaming Lips, and the demented glee of a random, obscure '60s group plucked from a Pebbles compilation as they follow their musical flights of fancy wherever they might lead.

Infest the Rats' Nest's first single, "Planet B", was given a surprise release on 8 April 2019, before the release of the band's fourteenth studio album Fishing for Fishies, along with an accompanying music video. The song not being featured on the track list for Fishing for Fishies as well as its distinct contrast to the sounds on that album led to speculation that the band might release a second album in 2019.

Omnium Gatherum is the 20th studio album and first double album by Australian psychedelic rock band King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard, released on 22 April 2022. The album was announced on 8 March 2022 and made available for pre-order on 22 March.
