"Klara Min about Schumann: “I learned to love him in time more than any other composers, most firmly, closely and freely to my heart.”Schumann was the first composer who used the word Arabesque to name one of his works. It showed new artistic possibilities in piano music accessible to non-professional players. The title ‘Kreisleriana’ is borrowed from E.T.A. Hoffmann’s novels and reflects the closeness of Schumann to the kindred spirit and thought of the Romantic writers. As source of inspiration for the work ‘Carnaval’ the composer used scenes of a masked ball derived from a literary work by J.P.F. Klára Würtz is among the more important pianists to have emerged from the latter decades of the 20th century. Hungarian-born, Amsterdam-based, she has, since the early '90s, made numerous tours of the United States and Canada while also appearing throughout Holland and elsewhere in Europe. If her repertory generally excludes Baroque as well as contemporary music, it is broad still, taking in all the sonatas of Mozart and large chunks of the outputs of Schubert, Schumann, Chopin, Liszt, Bartók, Debussy, and many others. Würtz has made numerous recordings for a variety of labels, including Brilliant Classics, Regis Records, and Globe. Würtz was born in Budapest, Hungary, in 1965.

Above the album worked the 'Folke Naute, Frank van de Laar & Klára Würtz - Schubert: The Last Three Piano Sonatas', and his release took place on 2020. The album has got songs with a total duration of more than an hour. A compilation is a compilation of original music.

The touch and musicianship of the Hungarian pianist Klára Würtz is amply attested by a substantial catalogue of Brilliant Classics and Piano Classics albums stretching from Mozart to Bartók. This recording turns to a pillar of the keyboard repertoire, the variation set composed by J. S. Bach in 1741 as the fourth and final volume of his compendious Clavier-Übung project.

On the occasion of the fortieth anniversary of the Innsbruck Early Music Festival Weeks, the conductor Alessandro De Marchi again at long last led a performance of Cimarosa’s most popular opera in historical performance practice and in original sound. The music forms a direct transition from the Baroque opera to the Bel Canto era of Rossini and in every way merits a production in which the musical and vocal practice of Cimarosa and Mozart’s times is brought back to life.

This new CD presents the world premiere recording of Michael Haydn's oratorio "Emperor Constantine I Campaign and Victory", performed here by Gyorgy Vashegyi, the Orfeo Orchestra and Purcell Choir.Michael Haydn was a widely respected composer during his lifetime, but after his death he was almost forgotten in the shadow of the epoch-making art of his elder brother Joseph. Only in recent decades has his great oeuvre been gradually rediscovered.The score of his oratorio "Emperor Constantine I Campaign and Victory" was long considered lost, but was only recently rediscovered in the Esterhzy Music Archive in Budapest and is now being presented as the first time on sound recording.
