1989 was the best year ever for the Melodic Rock / AOR genre. The most precious records appeared at that time and unfortunately many bands without a major label support promoting their releases get sunken into oblivion. One of these was Swiss ULTRANITE only album "I Want My Own Planet". All members from Ultranite worked previously in central Europe on different bands and writing songs for others, as Andy Boulton's Tokyo Blade or Andy Marc. The type of Melodic Rock crafted by Ultranite has many points in common with the Scandinavian scene, especially in the AOR keyboard infusions into the music.
Best known for his partnerships in the The Cage with Tony Martin (ex-Black Sabbath) and Voodoo Hill with Glenn Hughes (Black Country Communion, Deep Purple, California Breed), Italian guitarist Dario Mollo began his career in 1981 with the band Crossbones. With them, he released his first studio album in 1989, which was produced by Kit Woolven (Thin Lizzy Official, Magnum and UFO, among others) before getting involved in the production side of things himself. …
Digitally remastered edition of this 1981 release. Formed in 1979 by Ottawa-born Ron Chenier, singer/ guitarist, recruited players and began honing their chops doing small clubs in and around the Toronto area. Fleet Street was the band's third album. "Double Or Nothing" again showcased Chenier's talent for writing slick, guitar riffs, while "Thunder In Rock" was easily the year's best tune on the radio waves. With the clever addition of a sax solo, "Thunder In Rock" is probably most synonymous with Fist's music, if any song is at all. However, other killer cuts included "Open The Gates", the title track and "Evil Cold".

Commented frontman Schmier: “The German Panzer with a fantasy cover? No way! As much as I liked the idea doing something different and less stereotype, it was so much fun to create a real powerful war machine full of classical clichés.”The artwork was created by Hungarian artist Gyula Havancsák, who also created the recent artworks of Destruction and Headhunter. “Together with this great and crazy guy, we have visualized the most brutal Panzer ever,” adds Schmier. "You will find a lot of details that you won’t recognize at first sight - hints to our lyrics and stuff that goes deeper than just the first martial impression! We will show you an intense cover trailer that will show all the fine points of this classical metal art that fits perfect with our music very soon!"
