"The four Seasons" is the multisection symphonic form in which takes part the outstanding violonist Jakub Jakowicz. It is direct to the followers of music contemplation, it is the reminescencion of classic forms of romantic music and contemporary music. This genres which are only apparent far away from each other find the common denominator, balancing between a dissonance and sweet, "hollywood" sound of violin. This is unique proposition, the experiment whose genre is hard to define.

First released back in 1967 on the Touche label and impossible to find on vinyl ever since, Happiness Is Taking Care of Business, Dig was the sole album from the short-lived Al Tanner Quintet. Yet as this much-needed Jazzman reissue proves, it remains an inspired selection of spiritually enriching modal workouts that makes the most of its talented ensemble. While pianist and bandleader Al Tanner naturally makes his presence felt throughout, flautist/trumpeter George Alexander and tenor saxophonist Roy Henderson also deliver inspired solos, while the rhythm section of drummer William 'Smiley' Winters and bassist Edgar Williams are also on fine form throughout.

It's been over 3 years since Merkabah released their previous album "Moloch" that brought them worldwide recognition, just to mention The Quietus' "best of 2014 list". "Our work on 'Million Miles started shortly before 'Moloch' was released," admits band's drummer Kuba Sokólski. "Mixing took a lot of time and effort and it seemed natural for us to get around and try writing new stuff. It turned out that two new tracks ended up on our setlist on 'Moloch' release party," he adds. "Those two tracks, although rearranged, ended up on 'Million Miles'. The whole process took so long mainly because of our daily jobs, relationships and what not. We decided to take our time and let the music take proper shape," explains Gabriel Orłowski (guitar).
