With a pattern of recording solo albums which has been positively frugal over the last 20 years, Mara Galassi marks her return on Glossa with a new and striking programme, entitled Portrait of a Lady with Harp. The ambiance into which the noted modernday harpist from Milan plunges the listener is that of the court of Queen Christina of Sweden who, on renouncing her throne, converting to Catholicism and moving to Rome in the mid 1650s embarked upon a spectacular cultural life, becoming a patron for writers, scientists and especially musicians. Among those composers active in Rome at the time were Alessandro Stradella, Bernardo Pasquini, Arcangelo Corelli and Alessandro Scarlatti, all of whom benefitted from Christina’s constant hunger for music of high quality, whether official employees at her court or not.

The original Lady Lake were formed in 1973 in the town of Deventer, named after the second album of UK progsters Gnidrolog. Influenced by the likes of Camel and in a lesser extent Focus and Genesis, Lady Lake offer extremely well-arranged and highly melodic progressive rock with a variety in moods and atmospheres. The ultra-sensitive guitar work of Fred Rosenkamp will definitely remind you of Camel's Andy Latimer, presenting a very melodic style with nice harmonies, a slight Canterbury feel and even some bluesy touches. A few pastoral passages with calm guitar playing is very close to early Genesis, while some jazzier parts remind of Jan Akkermann. Keyboards come as an absolutely fascinating element of Lady Lake's music with superb atmospheric parts and lots of good solos.

Chromatica is the upcoming sixth studio album by American singer Lady Gaga. Originally scheduled for April 10, 2020, the album's release was delayed for seven weeks to May 29, 2020, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Chromatica will serve as a follow-up to Gaga's fifth studio album, Joanne (2016). The singer intended the album to be a reminder of her "absolute love for electronic music", and features production from various producers, such as BloodPop, BURNS, Axwell and Tchami. Themes of the album revolve around mental health, healing, and finding happiness through hardship. It also includes collaborations with Ariana Grande, Blackpink and Elton John.
