Gods of Olympia is the story of a cafe in downtown Olympia, WA. Olympia is the capital of the state of Washington. The community is very progressive and has several eating establishments where gay and lesbians are welcome.

Henpecked misogynist Richard Davis murders his shrewish wife and goes out to dispose of her corpse. However, things go awry for Richard after he's abducted by a pair of insane lesbians who take him to their house where they keep a grown woman called Baby in a crib.

David Akinsanya, a gay BBC journalist, travels to the USA in order to undergo "ex-gay" therapy at the controversial evangelical Christian organisation 'Love In Action', a ministry in Memphis, TN, which claims to allow gay men and lesbians "find freedom in Jesus Christ" and become straight.

There's three subplots, with only two of them being important in the grand scheme of the film. The first of the bunch features Lenore and Suzanne, two lesbians who set out to meet another young lady who'd like to join in on the fun and games that the two enjoy, but jealousy arises when this new friend starts to get a little too attached to one of them. The second follows a pair of gay guys who simply want to walk around town and make out in the woods. The third and final one revolves around Kiki, a young woman who is quite confused about her sexuality and eventually picks up a prostitute to figure out if she really wants to be with another woman or not.

An apparently straight theater director in a hetero marriage (to the most formidable film critic in Spain) takes on a screenplay with a lesbian writer. The play is about a French woman in history who was in love with her daughter and constantly wrote her love letters trying to seduce her back home to Paris.The director and writer both love their art so much in this project and in the process they fall in love with each other and each makes great sacrifices for the other.

With white Jewish lesbians for parents and two adopted brothers - one mixed-race and one Korean-Brooklyn teen Avery grew up in a unique and loving household. But when her curiosity about her African-American roots grows, she decides to contact her birth mother.
