La Bouteille

Tony Rome is an ex-cop turned private eye in Miami Beach. For $200 he returns a young woman to her father's house after she passes out in a seedy hotel, and he keeps the hotel's name out of it. Trouble is, she's missing a diamond pin, and tough guys show up at Tony's boat looking for it. When the pin does turn up, it's fake, so the girl's father, a wealthy builder, hires Tony to find out what happened to the real stones…

Duane et Cameron, deux vieillards portés sur la bouteille qui survivent en pillant les cimetières, passent de village en village. Pour justifier leur errance, ils disent être à la recherche de la mère de Cameron, une guérisseuse. Mais entre Claire Woodward, la belle et dangereuse magicienne dont Duane est amoureux, et les Grands Gobelins embusqués à la croisée des chemins, leurs déambulations ne sont pas dénuées de dangers.

J'ai mis des années avant de m'aventurer sur les traces de cette vieille guerre qui s'était déposée en moi, alors qu'aucune raison biographique, apparemment, ne justifiait cette obsession…

The singer has nevertheless called on four different collaborations: Woodkid signs seven titles (the marriage of their two universes hits the mark), her faithful friend Moby composed the two most dynamic songs for her (including the perfect remedy for melancholy "Reignite the stars"), Archive and finally the group Aaron, with the UFO "Rayon vert" which has found it's place, electro comma in an album strewn with lyrical ballads (one thinks of the masterful "Que l'aube est belle").
