Womanizer Don Mateo helps a girl in a train when attacked by a other woman. This girl, Conchita - a cigarette maker, soon visits the rich Don Mateo at his palace in Sevillia. He falls for her, but she likes to play with him. Sometimes she encourages his advances, then she rejects him. Furthermore, there's a portrait of a young man in her room. When he offers her money her mother urges her to accept, she runs away. Some months later he discovers her dancing flamenco in a sleazy cabaret. She notices him, flirts with other customers, then with the young man from the portrait, before she starts talking again with Don Mateo. But the manager asks her to prepare for the next number.

An insightful documentary follows the story of Claude Lorius, a man who has committed to over 22 polar expeditions since the 1960s and for that time has been cautioning the world that global warming is a certainty if we don t change our ways. Now he is an old man who has been proven right. Ice and the Sky follows his final footsteps as he tries to convince the world to ensure its survival for future generations.

Pour cette émission, «Des racines et des ailes» a installé son plateau à Strasbourg, une ville traversée par le troisième plus grand fleuve d'Europe. Long de 1300 kilomètres, le Rhin coule dans six pays dont la Suisse, la France et l'Allemagne, avant de se jeter dans la mer du Nord aux Pays-Bas. Strasbourg fête cette année le millénaire de la pose de la première pierre de sa cathédrale. Celle-ci culmine à 142 mètres et a été, jusqu'au XIXe siècle, la plus haute cathédrale de la chrétienté. La cathédrale et le palais Rohan sont par ailleurs les monuments principaux de «la grande île». Avec les reportages «Strasbourg au fil de l'eau», «À la source du Rhin» et «Le Rhin romantique».
