After fifteen films that received mostly local acclaim, the 1955 comedy Smiles of a Summer Night (Sommarnattens leende) at last ushered in an international audience for Ingmar Bergman. In turn-of-the-century Sweden, four men and four women attempt to navigate the laws of attraction. During a weekend in the country, the women collude to force the men’s hands in matters of the heart, exposing their pretensions and insecurities along the way. Chock-full of flirtatious propositions and sharp witticisms delivered by such Swedish screen legends as Gunnar Björnstrand and Harriet Andersson, Smiles of a Summer Night is one of cinema’s great erotic comedies.

Three friends face mid-life crises. Paul is a writer who's blocked. François has lost his ideals and practices medicine for the money; his wife grows distant, even hostile. The charming Vincent, everyone's favorite, faces bankruptcy, his mistress leaves him, and his wife, from whom he's separated, wants a divorce. The strains on the men begin to show particularly in François and Paul's friendship and in Vincent's health. A younger man, Jack, becomes attractive to Lucie, François's wife. Another young friend, the boxer Jean, who's like a son to Vincent and whose girlfriend is pregnant, has taken a bout with a merciless slugger. Has happiness eluded this circle of friends?

The six-film Herzog/Kinski boxed set is a sleek compilation of a visionary cinematic collaboration. The history of cinema is dotted with great directors who have found an actor whose face, voice, and style capture that director's point of view: Josef Von Sternberg and Marlene Dietrich; John Ford and John Wayne; Martin Scorsese and Robert DeNiro. In 1972, the German director Werner Herzog cast Polish actor Klaus Kinski in Aguirre, the Wrath of God–the result was perhaps the definitive film for both. Kinski had previously made almost 100 films, but his malevolent role–as a Spanish conquistador obsessed with finding gold–shot him into international stardom.

The story revolves around two families, whose leaders killed each other many years ago. Two sons from the family left, Jaswinder Randhawa and Balwinder Singh, are sworn enemies. Jaswinder has hidden in London, whereas Balwinder is waiting for his return in Punjab so he can take revenge for the death of his father.
Now in modern day, Jassi Randhawa (Ajay Devgan) is an unemployed good-for-nothing who receives a letter from the Punjab government about buying his property in Punjab. To finalise and sell the property, Jassi leaves for Punjab. On the train, he meets and falls in love with Sukhmeet (Sonakshi Sinha), who leaves at her station. In Punjab, Jassi accidentally hurts Billu (Sanjay Dutt) and, seeing he is new to the area, Billu invites Jassi to his home, where he treats Jassi like a god. There, Jassi realises that Billu is Sukhmit's brother. Soon enough, it turns out that Billu is Balwinder Singh and realises that Jassi is short for Jaswinder. However, Billu's family has one rule: A guest in the house should never be disturbed. Now, Billu must wait for Jassi to leave the house to kill him, but Jassi finds out and comes up with a hilarious plan to foil Billu's shenanigans.

Sinan is sent to Capadocia by his boss, Isfendiyar to write a screenplay. As he waits for inspiration, Sinan finds himself running first into Eylul, the daughter of Izzet, who owns the hotel where he's booked to stay, and then into soap opera star Faruk, his former good friend and present enemy. It isn't long before cabdriver Lokman, who declares himself Sinan's 'chauffeur' and Arif, a local farmer and horse breeder, are part of both Sinan's life and his screenplay. Although plentiful adventures among the magical fairy chimneys, colorful balloons and at the annual grape festival become like a movie for all involved, the happy ending awaited by the boss, Isfendiyar never happens. But the boss insists on his happy ending. And Sinan has to write that ending!

Carroll O'Connor (born John Carroll O'Connor; August 2, 1924 – June 21, 2001) was an American actor, Television producer and Television director whose television career spanned four decades. Known at first for playing the role of Major General Colt in the 1970 movie "Kelly's Heroes", he later found fame as the bigoted working man Archie Bunker, the main character in the 1970s CBS television sitcom series "All In The Family", from 1971 to 1979, and was then in "Archie's Bunker", from 1979 to 1983.

When young girls continue to disappear from a small, snowbound village, the police sent an officer out to investigate. The officer is approached by a retired government worker who contends the killer is probably someone like themselves. The old man theorizes the murderer kills out of extreme boredom just to liven things up. The policeman follows the clues that lead to the old man. After he kills the old man, the officer is overtaken by the same urge to kill that plagued his adversary.

Little is known about the girl in the painting, it is speculated that she was a maid who lived in the house of the painter along with his family and other servants, though there is no historical evidence . This masterful film attempts to recreate the mysterious girl's life. Griet, played by Scarlett Johansson, is a maid in the house of painter Johannes Vermeer, played by British actor Colin Firth. Vermeer's wealthy patron and sole means of support, Van Ruijven, commissions him to paint Griet with the intent that he will have her for himself before it is finished. She must somehow secretly pose for the crucial painting without the knowledge of Vermeer's wife…
