As part of the Graham Bonnet Band's 2017 "The Book" tour in Japan, a three night special engagement and reunion of Alcatrazz was presented much to the the light of the Japanese hard rock faithful.Founding Alcatrazz members, Graham Bonnet (vocals), Jimmy Waldo (keyboards) and Gary Shea (bass), reunited after 33 years for a unique series of shows in Osaka, Nagoya, and Tokyo, Japan in March 2017. For the special occasion, the band wasrounded out by Mark Benquechea (drums) and Conrado Pesinato (guitars), both from the Graham Bonnet Band.In addition to this unique farewell performance caputred on audio and video, Alcatrazz raided the archives and added some unreleased bonus tracks taken from the original sessions recorded in 1985, including one song, "Emotion" with a young Steve Vai on guitar.

Recorded on July 4, 1969, at the Garden State Arts Center in New Jersey, this album is a good representation of Glen Campbell's music of the period, but perhaps not his usual live sound, complete with an orchestral accompaniment (conducted by Al DeLory), as well as a group of top L.A. session musicians who would normally not go on tour. Campbell himself was satisfied with the album, which contains most of his best-known numbers up to that point in his career (augmented by numbers like "The Impossible Dream" and "The Lord's Prayer"), done in a smooth, slickly professional fashion.

Johnny Mathis chooses an interesting, varied set list for this 1984 concert collection. Of course, there are a few of his big '50s hits "Misty," "A Certain Smile," "The Twelfth of Never," "Chances Are" as well as a few songs covered on recent albums "99 Miles from L.A." from 1975's Feelings, "When a Child Is Born" from 1976's I Only Have Eyes for You, "Begin the Beguine" from 1979's The Best Days of My Life (and an adult contemporary chart entry), and "Memory" from 1982's Friends in Love.

Tango is currently en vogue, the spirit of the time. Almost everyone hears it, and many play it.
