Flamborough Head: "In the 25 years of its existence, Flamborough Head released a demo, six studio albums and one live album. Through the years the band was asked to participate in several projects which resulted in various contributions – sometimes new compositions but also reworked or live versions of songs released earlier on one of our studio albums. Witek Andree of Oskar asked us to compile a cd containing all these contributions complemented with some unreleased live tracks".

Famous for the quality of its musicians and the refinement of its music, the Japanese Progressive rock scene provided such prestigious representatives as Gerard (For the symphonic side), Ruins (For the Zeuhl side) or Kenso (For the jazz-rock fusion side). As far as the so-called Canterbury school is concerned, the local reference is Ain Soph. This major instrumental quartet produced some of the best gems in the genre, which is however significantly dominated by Anglo-Saxon outfits. This unique combo plays a music that combines extreme delicacy with a great technical perfection, the whole thing being illuminated by an outstanding melodic and harmonic richness…

Toronto has long played a sizable role in the myth-making of The Rolling Stones. It’s been a home away from home for the group for decades, a place where they’ve set up shop to prep before hitting the road since at least as far back as 1989’s Steel Wheels tour. And during those months-long rehearsal stays, they’ve regularly held secret shows around town at small venues, such as the Horseshoe Tavern, RPM, and The Phoenix Concert Theatre. But the Stones’ Toronto club stint that started it all was a pair of shows at Spadina Avenue’s El Mocambo Tavern that took place March 4-5, 1977.

2009 three CD set of solo live tracks from the Deep Purple vocalist, authorized by Ian Gillan himself. Disc One was recorded at London's legendary Rainbow Theatre on 4th March 1981, with Bernie Torme on lead guitar. With the exception of one song, the performance is previously unreleased…
