Founded in 2016 by the Swiss drummer Noé Tavelli, Noé Tavelli & The Argonauts Collective is an ensemble that brings together some of the most promising young European jazz musicians. Their music, which is collectively shaped and written, is fed by the influence and dynamism of the New York Jazz scene, as each member of the band has spent extended time in the “Big Apple”. The band, a chord-less quartet, offers a smart and ambitious blend of traditional and modern jazz combining both complex form and freedom.

Two years after his first album, Etienne Sevet aka The Bongo Hop vows to fulfill the expectations born after Satingarona pt 1, in which he’d laid the foundations of his own afro caribbean « metissage ». This time again, with Satingarona pt 2, the trumpetist hailing from Bordeaux is joined by his friends, colombian singer Nidia Gongora (Quantic, Ondatropica, Canalon) and french producer Patchworks (Voilaaa, Taggy Matcher), alongside newly met colaborators, like parisian impromptu MC Greg Frite, Haitian singer Kephny Eliacin, Cindy Pooch and young talent Laurene Pierre-Magnani from his hometown’s underground caribbean punk scene. L. Sid is the second solo album by Leo Sidran. It was released on February 15, 2000 on Go Jazz Records. It was the first album by Sidran dually composed in English and Castilian. Leo Sidran is a very talented songwriter and performer that seems to be searching for his niche. The fifteen songs on "L. Sid" incorporate jazz, latin, and pop into some brilliant songs.

Born in Argentina but living in France since 1998, Caronni sisters Gianna (clarinet, bass clarinet, vocals) and Laura (lead vocals, cello, violin) grew up in a multicultural family, absorbing a gamut of musical influences as they developed into the present duo. Sitting somewhere on the border of classical music and freer territories, they craft a form of chamber folk that is as lovely as it is intimate. Their original compositions are at once reflective of the past, and of a future in which fusions serve as expressions of genuine unity.
