Loops de la Crème has launched Battle of the Mini Synths, a Kontakt instrument featuring the sounds of a collection of portable synths and toy keyboards.

586 royalty-free drum loops (24bit, 48kHz, mono and stereo WAV). Tight, warm, precise stereo sound, reminiscent of late 70s funk, disco and rock. Recorded on location in a jazz club on a Tama Starclassic.

To create this unique instrument, we sampled a custom drum set made of two jazzy toms, a big retro kick and an expressive piccolo snare. A selection of cymbals, percussions (bongos, cowbell, claves, shakers, tambourines, claps and sticks) and bonus original sounds and playing technics (sticks on the side of toms, stacked fx cymbals, tambourine on hi-hat…) provide lots of extra colors and rhythmic possibilities!

This new Kontakt instrument should be very useful for your productions: It is super easy to play and just sounds very realistic. It was recorded with an AKG C451b and a binaural pair of AT4022, and you’ll find 6 different sound presets to easily integrate the tambourine in your mix.
