The fourth installment in Manfred Mann's "Radio Days" series covers the highly regarded first lineup of Manfred Mann's Earth Band: Manfred Mann (keyboards), Mick Rogers (guitar, vocals), Colin Pattenden (bass), and Chris Slade (drums). Volume 4 spans the early Earth Band material which put the band on the map as a live concert attraction, with every track on this release making it's official release debut. The band's earliest BBC appearance, when they were still called Manfred Mann, took place on 23 June 1971 when they recorded three tracks for Dave Lee Travis' programme: "Living Without You," "Big Betty," and "Mighty Quinn." The latter only exists as a fragment, but all three have been included on this release.

The gospel powerhouse strikes a balance between funky flair and thoughtful balladry with On Purpose. While the collection is grounded in the high-energy gospel that put the group on the map in the ’00s, it also finds them exploring more reflective modes of worship. The ecstatic electro-funk powering “Unconditional” is balanced by “I Am Who God Says I Am,” a lush meditation on the importance of having faith in the Lord’s plans for you. That theme returns on “You Call Me,” which also serves as a moving showcase for the group’s silkily undulating vocal arrangements.

The definitive edition of the 1977 seminal debut solo album by GENESIS founding member Anthony Phillips. The music album could arguably be seen to have begun life as far back as 1969, but in essence it was the result of nearly four years hard work by Anthony, in collaboration with Mike Rutherford (who co-wrote three of the pieces on the record), beginning with a series of recordings made on TEAC 4 track tape recorders, progressing to sessions on the barge studio of engineer Tom Newman. Enlisting the assistance of Phil Collins, John Hackett, Viv Mcauliffe, Jack Lancaster and many others, The Geese and the Ghost finally appeared in 1977 in America on the Passport label and in the UK on the Hit & Run imprint. Lauded by many as a supreme achievement, this definitive of The Geese and the Ghost has been newly re-mastered from the original master tapes by Simon Heyworth and includes a stunning new 5.1 Surround Sound mix of the album by Andy Myles and Simon Heyworth.
