2018 release. Johan Kihlberg's Impera Age Of Discovery features a wide range of musical influences while remaining a very strong, melodic and powerful album. It boasts great production work by Chriss and a stunning artwork by Carl-André Beckston. After three albums with his band Impera, founding drummer Johan Kihlberg decided it was time to spread his wings, and the Swede came up with the idea to record his first solo effort, Johan Kihlberg's Impera Age Of Discovery.

Big Boy Bloater & The LiMiTs will be releasing their brand new album Pills on 15th June 2018 via Provogue/Mascot Label Group. Following on from 2016’s Luxury Hobo, Surrey born Bloater re-focusses himself and Pills is a reflection of him having a clearer head. Recorded in December 2017 with producer Adam Whalley, the band trimmed down to a power trio of Big Boy Bloater (Vocals/Guitar), Matt Cowley (Drums) and Steven Oates (Bass) for the new album and it kicks off with the rip-roaring title track Pills, an extension from the previous album and highlights the constant need for pills today but has a sinister edge.

Originally recorded in 2014 and 2015 as a two-CD set tribute to the legendary poet / activist Amiri Baraka, this collection of “12 Jazz / Poetry Hi Fi Dig Its” explores the range of vernacular styles that Amiri Baraka utilized during his journey from Beat to Black Nationalist to Black Marxist to Post Black Arts Surrealist. These recordings are both celebratory and critical as HAGL is unafraid to embody the nuanced complexities of Baraka’s controversial legacy as well as transform that work into new forms that challenge the easy and outdated structures of much of today’s Written and Spoken Word, resulting in a vibrant exploration that forges a new understanding that is useful to the next generation of Feelnicians.
