Machine Learning Mathematics

The present book contains all of the articles in the second edition of the Special Issue titled "Statistical Data Modeling and Machine Learning with Applications II". This Special Issue belongs to the "Mathematics and Computer Science" Section and aims to publish research on the theory and application of statistical data modeling and machine learning. New mathematical methods and approaches, new algorithms and research frameworks, and their applications aimed at solving diverse and nontrivial practical problems are proposed and developed in this SI. We believe that the chosen papers are attractive and useful to the international scientific community and will contribute to further research in the field of statistical data modeling and machine learning.

Data analysis and machine learning are research areas at the intersection of computer science, artificial intelligence, mathematics and statistics. They cover general methods and techniques that can be applied to a vast set of applications such as web and text mining, marketing, medical science, bioinformatics and business intelligence.

This book presents the refereed proceedings of the 6th International Conference on Advanced Machine Learning Technologies and Applications (AMLTA 2021) held in Cairo, Egypt, during March 22–24, 2021, and organized by the Scientific Research Group of Egypt (SRGE). The papers cover current research Artificial Intelligence Against COVID-19, Internet of Things Healthcare Systems, Deep Learning Technology, Sentiment analysis, Cyber-Physical System, Health Informatics, Data Mining, Power and Control Systems, Business Intelligence, Social media, Control Design, and Smart Systems.

The amount of data medical databases doubles every 20 months, and physicians are at a loss to analyze them. Also, traditional data analysis has difficulty to identify outliers and patterns in big data and data with multiple exposure / outcome variables and analysis-rules for surveys and questionnaires, currently common methods of data collection, are, essentially, missing.
