Once again Florian blesses us with some meditative and reflective music. And I have to say that this is one of my favourites from him.

At the time of buying this LP, I thought I was going to find a Stivell immersed in the Prog-Folk music… my surprise was great after listening to it completely: Totally unplugged, no instrument with electric cables.
Born to Nigerian parents brought to Algeria, percussionist Guem grew up playing traditional music and trance rhythms from an early age. His family soon initiated him into the secrets of the diwan–ceremonies where many of the participants enter a state of trance.

Gwendal and their first self-titled LP released in 1974, in my opinion one of their best works.
On their new album "Baroque in Blue", Eckart Runge & Jacques Ammon explore the field of tension between two musical epochs and genres that are separated by more than 200 years. Baroque and jazz have much more in common than one might think at first glance: walking basso continuo, the joy of spontaneity and, last but not least, the high art of improvisation.

I was 10 years old when I heard the song "More tea vicar" in an AM radio, by the way a melody I didn't know his authorship and name. This melody has accompanied me throughout my life.
