It became a cult classic, bringing her universal praise as a Dylan interpreter, and acting as a springboard for her career. Speculation is that ELP was contractually obligated to record the third of a three-album deal at a time when Carl Palmer had required minor surgery for carpal tunnel syndrome and Keith Emerson had required major surgery for performance-induced damage to his right arm…

In The Hot Seat is a studio album by progressive rock band Emerson, Lake & Palmer released in 1994. Keith Emerson had nerve problems in his right hand, which made it almost impossible to play the keyboards. The tensions between him and Greg Lake surfaced again during this album (Emerson and Lake have always butted heads over the direction of ELP), and the disjointedness of this album is a result. "Daddy" was written in memory of Sara Anne Wood and used to raise awareness of missing children.

Good performance and good sound quality. There are better, but all in all, with the slick looking package thrown in, this is a nice set. Released as a companion volume to Vol.1, This show is slightly better both in sound quality and show performance. The discs are very short. There could have been some filler material added. The best solution would have been to release only this title with filler from Vol.1 added on. The last song on disc one is incorrectly identified as Girl From The North Country on the package.
