The Mary Wells volume of MCA's 20th Century Masters: The Millennium Collection may not be definitive, but the 11-track compilation contains all of her biggest hits – "Bye Bye Baby," "I Don't Want to Take a Chance," "The One Who Really Loves You," "You Beat Me to the Punch," "Two Lovers," "Laughing Boy," "You Lost the Sweetest Boy," and, of course, "My Guy" – which makes it the ideal choice for budget-minded fans.

20th Century Masters - The Christmas Collection reissues all but one song from the recordings for the Supremes' 1965 holiday record, Merry Christmas, the group's only contribution to the seasonal market. Though none of these tracks were recorded at Motown's studios (only the vocals were), Merry Christmas was one of the label's best Christmas records; Diana Ross' charming innocence brought across the novelties ("Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer," "Twinkle Twinkle Little Me") as well as the sacred tunes ("Born of Mary," "Children's Christmas Song"), and the harmony backing of Mary Wilson and Florence Ballard made the Supremes' version of "White Christmas" the best ever by a rock group.

It is an undeniable fact that the history of Motown Records was developed by "men" such as The Temptations, Four Tops, Smokey Robinson and Marvin Gaye. However, if you explore the flow of history a little deeper, you can actually confirm the existence of "women" there. According to the popular phrase “a woman in the shadow of history,” the history of this model record is no exception. On the surface, it is known that the female “stars” such as Diana Ross and The Supremes, The Marvelettes, and Mary Wells, who conquered the world, form an important part of history. Actually, there were more "women" playing an active part under the surface. The history of Motown Records may actually have been supported by them.

Thirteen hours of unreleased and ultra-rare music. The Eternal Myth Revealed is a 14 disc docu-biography of Ra's life and career, from his birth in 1914 up to 1959. In addition to his own music, it includes music he was influenced by, and a lot of stuff he may or may not have had a hand in as arranger, vocal coach, pianist or something else. Sun Ra's output was as prolific as Ellington's, and discographers have had nightmares and arguments attempting to document it accurately.

Reviewing Halliday’s previous recorded work with guitarist Corey Christianson, Billy Kerr remarked in “Saxophone Journal,” “His saxophone playing and his music are at the highest levels, great dark, fat sound, wonderful time and feel, as well as a clean, fast technique . . . I’m sure he could play any kind of music.”
